This feature is currently marked **Beta**. For example, show an allergy-details question when a parent answers Yes to an earlier allergy question. ### Add a condition 1. Open the custom form's **Field editor**. 2. Place the question that controls visibility above the question you want to show conditionally. 3. Open the menu on the dependent question and choose **Edit conditional logic**. 4. Choose the earlier question, a rule and the answer or answers to match. 5. To add another condition, select **Add condition**. With two or more conditions, choose **All** or **Any**. 6. Select **Save**. 7. Preview the form and test the matching and non-matching answers. The controlling question must be an earlier question with selectable options. Dropdown or multiple-choice questions offer **is**, **is not**, **is any of** and **is none of**. Checkboxes offer **includes** and **does not include**. Choose **All** when every condition must be met. Choose **Any** when at least one condition is enough. ### What parents see A conditional question appears when its rules are met and disappears when they are no longer met. If the controlling question is unanswered, the dependent question stays hidden, including when the rule is negative, such as is not. A hidden question is not required. Its answer is cleared when the form is saved and is excluded from the submission, PDF and email. Hiding it does not erase an existing matching answer on the student's or parent's profile. ### Edit or remove conditions Use the field's conditional caption or **Edit conditional logic** to review its rules. Use **Remove conditions** to return the question to always being shown. Rules belong to this form. Reusing a shared field on another form does not automatically apply the same conditions there. TUIO prevents moving a controlling question below a question that depends on it. Deleting a controlling question or one of its options warns you about the conditions affected. Review that warning before continuing. Conditions currently apply to custom questions, not standard fields or whole sections. They cannot read an answer from a different form in the same registration. Your organization's Forms feature must be enabled to edit a custom form.
