# How to Hide a Payment Plan

Sometimes you want a payment plan that only administrators can apply, one that parents cannot see or select during enrollment. Examples are a special arrangement offered on request, or a plan that should only be open for part of the year.

Every payment plan has an availability window that controls when parents can select it. A plan outside its window is hidden from parents, but administrators can still apply it to an enrollment.

### Hide a payment plan from parents

1. Go to **Programs** and open the program.
2. Under **Payment plans**, click the plan name to open **Edit payment plan**.
3. Under **General**, set **Available to** to a date in the past (for example, yesterday). Leave **Available from** blank.
4. Click **Save**.

The plan no longer appears in the parent portal during enrollment. To apply it to a specific family, go to **Enrollments**, open the three-dot menu on the enrollment and choose **Set payment plan & discount**.

### Open a plan for a set period only

The same two fields let you offer a plan for a window of time, for example an early enrollment plan that closes on June 30, or a shorter instalment plan that only opens in September.

- **Available from**: the first date parents can select the plan.
- **Available to**: the last date parents can select the plan.

Parents enrolling inside the window see the plan; parents enrolling outside it do not. Families who already selected the plan are not affected when the window closes.

### Make a hidden plan visible again

Open **Edit payment plan**, clear the **Available to** date (or move it into the future) and click **Save**. The plan appears as an enrollment option for parents again.
