How to Hide a Payment Plan

This video walks you through the key points — it’s the best way to understand everything in just a couple of minutes.

Hiding a Payment Plan from Parents

In certain situations, you may need to create a payment plan that is only available for administrators to apply—one that is not visible or selectable by parents. For instance, you might have a special payment option offered only by request or under specific circumstances.

To hide a payment plan from parents, use the Early Bird Availability feature:

  1. Enable Early Bird Availability:
Check the box labeled Early Bird Availability on the Edit payment plan dialog.

  2. Set a High Number of Days:
In the field that appears below—“days or more before program start date”—enter a large number (e.g., 500 or 1000).
This ensures the payment plan remains hidden, as it would only appear to parents enrolling that far in advance of the program start date.

By doing this, the payment plan will be available for administrators to apply but will not be shown in the parent portal during enrollment.

Making the Plan Visible to Parents

If you later want to allow parents to view and select the plan:

  • Simply uncheck the Early Bird Availability box.

  • Once disabled, the payment plan will appear as an option for parents during enrollment.
