🆕TUIO 2026.10.1 - What's New

Your forms can now show a question only when an earlier answer calls for it, the Collections report covers several organizations at once and separates the fees billed monthly, and every parent page now offers help and feedback.

General

Accepting terms is now one checkbox with a link

  • Wherever you accept terms, you now tick a single I agree to the terms of service box. Its link opens the full terms on their own page in a new tab, so you can read them without losing anything you have typed.
  • This applies when you sign up from an invite, a registration or a donation, when you activate an account, on the updated terms page after you sign in, and when you add a bank account, where you agree to the pre-authorized debit terms.
  • Activating an account now asks for the terms at the same time, so you go straight in instead of meeting a separate terms page.

Tax receipts show the payment period

  • The tax receipt PDF now prints the period its payments cover, for example "Period: Jan 1 - Dec 31, 2025 (ET)", under the report description on the receipt and on its transaction history page.
  • Families who need payment dates on a receipt, such as for a US dependent care FSA, now have them without a separate statement.

Parent Experience

Help and feedback on every page

  • Each main page now opens with a short description of what it is for and a Help and feedback toggle.
  • Opening it gives you a link to share feedback on that page, the Help center, and up to three help articles chosen for that page.
  • You will find it on Students, Enrollments, Schedule, Invoices, Tax receipts, Registrations, Payment methods, Forms, Donations and Communications.

Organization Experience

Show a question only when an earlier answer calls for it (Beta)

  • You can now make a question on a form appear only when an earlier question has a given answer. For example, ask for details of a child's special needs only when the parent answers Yes.
  • In the Field editor of a custom form, including one used in a registration, choose Edit conditional logic from a field's menu. Pick a question above it, a rule such as is, is any of or includes, and the answers. With two or more conditions, choose whether all or any must be met.
  • Parents see conditional questions appear and disappear as they answer. A hidden question is never required and is left out of the submission and its PDF.
  • Conditions apply to that form only, so a field shared by several forms can be conditional on one and always shown on another.

Run the Collections report across several organizations

  • An Organization filter now leads the Collections report. It starts on your current organization. Add more and every figure combines them, or clear it to report on every organization you administer.
  • With one organization selected, View transactions opens that organization's transactions without switching your current organization. With several selected, the links wait until you pick one.
  • You need Organization Admin access to every organization you select.

Collections report separates the fees billed monthly

  • Fee breakdown now shows two lines in place of one: Transaction fees deducted by payment processor for credit card and bank account payments, and Transaction fees billed monthly for cash, check and TUIO credit.
  • TUIO bills the monthly fees on a separate invoice rather than taking them from your payout, so keeping them apart stops them being counted twice.
  • By payment method marks TUIO credit and Cash / check as Billed monthly by TUIO. If your organization charges no cash fee, none of these monthly items show.

Filter invoices by GL account

  • Invoices now has Debit GL account and Credit GL account filters under More filters. Pick one or more accounts to list the invoices whose lines or item discounts use them.
  • The filters also appear on the Invoices tab of an enrollment, a registration and a parent, and the export and Update GL accounts of filtered follow them.
  • They show while an organization is selected, if your organization uses GL accounts.

Correct the dates on cash and TUIO credit payments

  • On the Transaction dialog, a cash or TUIO credit transaction now has Edit beside Initiated date and Completion date, so a payment recorded late or with the wrong date can be put right.
  • Reports, exports and tax receipt batches follow the corrected dates. A new completion date also moves the deposited date, and the invoice's paid date when that payment paid the invoice.
  • You need write access under the Invoice & Transaction permission.

Cash and TUIO credit payments now have a deposit date

  • Cash and TUIO credit payments now take their completion date as their deposit date and show as deposited. The date used to be blank, so accounting software importing your export filled in the import day and put the amounts in the wrong month.
  • They are now included when you export by Bank deposit date, and they fill the deposit date columns of your lists and exports.
  • Past cash and TUIO credit payments are updated the same way. Re-exporting an earlier month by Bank deposit date now includes them, so check before importing it again if you already brought those payments in another way.

Remind parents tells you what was sent

  • Remind parents now finishes on a results step showing how many overdue reminders were sent and how many could not be. One invoice that fails no longer stops the rest.
  • Every overdue reminder, whether you send it or it goes out automatically, now appears in the invoice's Audits with the addresses it was sent to and, for a reminder you send, who sent it.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed payments completed on a tax receipt batch's Payment end date sometimes being left out, depending on the time zone of the computer that saved the batch. The end date is now always included.
  • Fixed a student getting no attendance for the class events held while their enrollment was archived. Unarchiving or restoring the enrollment now fills them in.
