# 🆕TUIO 2026.10.3 - What's New

## Pay now makes sure every enrollment has a working payment method first, GL accounts in payment schedules default to the program's own, and payment due dates stay on their day.

### General

- The parent *Tax receipts* tab, the parent *Schedule* and *Communications* now link straight to the help article that explains them.

### Parent Experience

#### Pay now sets up your payment method first

- When you open *Pay now* on an enrollment with no working payment method, the first step now asks you for one before anything is charged.
- You then choose *Pay them now* to pay your past due invoices straight away, or *Don't pay them now* to leave them for the next scheduled payment.
- You can pay by credit or debit card or by bank account.
- The *Review* step links to the *How Pay now works* article, so you can see what happens next.

#### Bug Fixes

- Fixed an invoice card still showing the red due date and *Overdue* after you paid it, until the page was refreshed.
- Fixed confirming a waitlist spot skipping updated terms. You are now asked to accept them first, then returned to the confirmation.

### Organization Experience

#### Recording cash on a credit-covered invoice

- When a scheduled credit covers everything left on an invoice, *Pay invoice* now tells you *This invoice cannot be marked as paid yet*, with the credit amount and date. Before, it could record a negative cash payment.
- This applies on the invoice screen and on the *Invoices* list.

#### Payment due dates stay on their day

- Moving payments with *Edit payments*, or adding them by due date with *Add multiple payments*, now keeps each due date on its day. A plan due on the 1st stays on the 1st, whatever the length of the month.
- *Specified dates & amounts* with payment terms of 0 now shows both the issue and due date in its list.

#### GL accounts default to the program's own

- Each GL account in the payment dialogs is now a choice of *Program default*, which names the account it will use, or *Set custom debit GL account* and *Set custom credit GL account*. The account picker appears only when you choose a custom account.
- This covers *Add payment*, *Edit payment*, *Add multiple payments* and the enrollment *Bulk edit payments* dialog.
- GL accounts now read "code · name" everywhere, including the GL filters on *Invoices*.

#### Profile fields in the form builder

- Parent, student and enrollment fields now sit under one *Profile fields* section each in the form builder, with the standard fields first, then a divider, then your custom fields.
- The same wording is used on the *Forms* page, in the field dialogs and in the accounting export template editor.

#### Student permissions follow the organization

- *Create enrollment* now offers *Create a new student* only when you have permission to add students and parents in that organization.
- A parent can only be linked to a student in the same organization.

#### Help articles on more screens

- *Invoices*, the *Transactions* tab of *Reports* and the *Edit conditional logic* dialog now link to the help article that explains them.

#### Bug Fixes

- Fixed the *Enable online registrations* hint on a program's *Registration* page describing the wrong message. It has been removed.
- Fixed the *Remove* confirmation on a program's registration forms, and on a form's registration programs, opening with no heading.
