🆕TUIO 2026.6.1 - What's New

A new replace card workflow and payment method assignment workflows, a range of forms and reports improvements including PDF previews and parent details on student reports, plus fixes across payment methods, enrollments, and invoices.

General

  • You can now replace a card through a dedicated workflow. Wherever an expired card appears on the Select payment method page, an edit icon with a tooltip opens it, and non-expired cards can be replaced from the Replace menu option in the parent experience or under Parent > Payment methods. Where possible, the new card is validated and added before the old one is removed, so a card is never left without a valid replacement, and the displayed payment methods refresh automatically when you're done.

  • Fixed cards showing as expired during their expiry month — a card now only shows as expired from the first of the following month (for example, a card expiring 06/26 only shows as expired from 1 July 2026).

  • Fixed the Select payment method dialog not showing the currently selected card (even when expired) as selected when changing an enrollment's payment method.

Parent Experience

  • The Add payment method workflow now includes an Assign step where you assign the new card to your enrollments. If you try to save with None selected or no enrollments checked, a confirmation dialog asks you to confirm you don't want to assign the card to any enrollment.

  • A new Assign payment methods workflow lets you assign a payment methods to that enrollments, from Payment methods > Assign payment methods.
  • The reminder you receive when a saved payment card is approaching its expiry date has been updated to show the affected enrollments and organizations, if applicable.

  • The Students and Enrollments views have been enhanced for a better experience on mobile.
  • Removed an unnecessary tooltip that appeared when hovering over a payment method in the payment method selector.

Organization Experience

Payment Methods

  • A new Assign payment methods workflow lets you assign a parent's payment methods to that parent's enrollments, from Parents > Parent > Payment methods > Assign payment methods. Only the currently viewed parent's enrollments are shown.

  • The Add payment method workflow now includes an Assign step for assigning the new card to the parent's enrollments. The step shows only the currently viewed parent's enrollments, and the All enrollments without payment methods quick option now also selects enrollments that currently have a deleted payment method.

Forms and Reports

Improved PDF layout

Registration forms, form submissions, and report PDFs now render with less white space, fields kept in their general order, and improved layouts so a long field title or value no longer pushes other items in the same column down. Only newly generated PDFs are affected; older PDFs can be updated using the Regenerate option where available.

Preview forms and reports as a PDF

A new Preview form tab lets you preview how the current form will look when filled in as a PDF, including a headings preview. An equivalent Preview report option is available on reports — shown only when the report template is PDF or PDF and CSV, and never when the report is CSV only.

Line break field for reports

The line break (spacer) field can now be added to report templates as a custom field (without the terms and signature fields). On PDFs it acts as an invisible line break.

Guidance on empty forms and reports

Empty forms and reports now show help text: "Get started by adding fields from the Available fields section."

Consistent PDF headers

The PDF header section — Parent details, Student details, Submitted details, and Generated details — has been standardized across the form submission, registration, invoice, and student report PDFs, and now includes the student ID and custom identifiers.

Student reports can now include parent fields

  • Both standard and custom parent fields can now be added to a student report template, alongside the existing student and enrollment fields.

  • The export expands based on the field categories on the template: student fields alone produce one entry per student, adding enrollment fields produces one entry per enrollment, adding parent fields produces one entry per parent, and including both parent and enrollment fields produces one entry per parent's enrollment.

  • The output is grouped by the student's parents, with each parent's own enrollments nested beneath them, and an enrollment is only ever shown under its enrolling parent.

  • Nothing is dropped — a parent with no enrollment still appears once (with enrollment fields blank), and a student with no parents still appears once (with parent fields blank).

  • Parent fields appear in both the PDF and CSV outputs, access follows your existing student and parent permissions (no new permission is needed), and templates that don't use parent fields export exactly as before.

Other

  • On the Update enrollment dialog, the Archive and Delete options are now always visible but disabled when they can't be used, instead of being hidden, with a message explaining why an enrollment can't be archived or deleted — whether you reach it from the kebab menu or the enrollment details page.

  • The bulk and individual archive or delete enrollment actions now run through a wizard that shows the results of the operation.

  • When duplicating an invoice, the date now prefills to the current date as the issue date by default.

  • Organization search now orders results by relevance, both when searching for an organization to switch to and on the main Organizations lister.

  • Fixed Form custom fields in the field editor Edit custom field dialog — added a missing Duplicate option and fixed the Remove field option not working for custom form fields.
  • Fixed file-type fields in the Registrations > Forms view having no download / kebab menu.
  • Fixed an error when loading a huge amount registration invoice results at a time on the Invoices page.
