🆕TUIO 3.29.0 – What’s New

Improvements to draft registration cleanup, donation settings, overdue notifications, credits, and parent payment workflows

📧 General Improvements

New Modern Interface

  • TUIO’s interface has been upgraded, bringing better performance, cleaner visuals, and a more modern UI experience.

  • The main navigation layout has changed:

    • To switch between Parent, Organization, and Administrator experiences, use the selector located next to the experience name at the top of the menu.

Donors Can Now Cover Transaction Fees

Organizations can now ask donors to cover transaction fees so the organization receives the full intended donation amount.

  • Enable or disable this feature under Organization › Donation Settings

  • Organizations can choose whether fee coverage is enabled by default or off by default

  • Donors always have the option to decline covering fees

  • When fees are covered, the system automatically adjusts the donation amount so the intended net amount is received

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent Experience

  • New Registration Date Filters:

    Parents now also have Create Date From and Create Date To filters on their Registrations page.

  • Improved Donation Back-Navigation:

    If a parent starts a donation in-app then clicks back, they are now returned to TUIO - not signed out.

  • Consistent Save Button Behavior:

    Improved reliability and consistency of the Save button when parents add new payment methods.

🏫 Organization Experience

  • New Registration Date Filters:

    The Registrations page now supports Create Date From and Create Date To filters.

  • Bulk Registration Tags:

    Administrators can now apply bulk tags when managing registrations.

    • Note: Bulk tagging replaces all existing tags on the selected registrations.

  • Extended Report Receipt Labels:

    The Receipt Total line label now supports longer wording.

  • Student ID & Name on All Form Submission Exports:

    Student ID and student name columns now always appear in the Form Submissions export — even on forms not related to students (columns will simply be blank when not applicable).

  • Transaction Fee Accuracy Adjustments:

    Improved fee accuracy across the different transaction fee models supported by TUIO.

  • Targeted Forms Stability Fix:

    Fixed an issue where targeted forms would continue sending even after the creation dialog closed.

  • Invoice Payment Fix with Discounts & Credits:

    Resolved an issue that prevented invoices from being fully paid when multiple credits and discounts were applied.

  • Donation Fee Configuration Safeguard:

    Fixed an issue where donation fees could accidentally be altered when organization admins adjusted settings during a setup session with a TUIO admin.

  • Improved GL Account Error Handling:

    Enhanced error messages and behavior when GL-enabled organizations attempt to create invoices without GL accounts configured.

  • Form Submissions Download Fix:

    Fixed an issue where a “download in progress” message appeared despite no submissions being available.

  • Transaction Export Processor Switch Fix:

    Resolved an error that occurred on the transaction export after organizations switched to a different payment processor.

  • Receipt Transaction History Display Enhancements:

    Improved column sizing for better readability in the receipt transaction history section.
