Choose a report based on the question you need to answer. Billed charges, payment activity and bank deposits describe different stages. ### Choose your starting point - **Billed charges, invoice items and discounts:** use the [Invoices list export to Excel](https://support.tuiopay.com/how-to-export-invoice-data-to-excel?hsLang=en). - **Payments, refunds or transaction status:** review Transactions and the relevant transaction export. - **Money arriving in your school’s bank account:** use deposit reconciliation or the accounting export for your package. - **Processor fees, chargebacks or reversals:** use the Processor activity report. - **Collection totals and fee breakdown:** use the [Collections report](https://support.tuiopay.com/how-to-use-the-collections-report?hsLang=en). - **Overdue balances by invoice or parent:** use [Aging receivables](https://support.tuiopay.com/how-to-use-the-aging-receivables-report?hsLang=en). Choose By parent for a parent balance statement. - **Student information:** use [Student reports](https://support.tuiopay.com/m.-how-to-set-up-and-run-student-reports?hsLang=en). A class selection can include class IDs and names. - **A family’s payment statement or tax receipt:** use the school’s parent payment reports. ### Match your dates and scope Before comparing files, check the organization, merchant account, payment methods, date type and date range. A payment’s completion date can differ from the date the processor deposits it into your bank account. An invoice can contain several items, and one payment can relate to several items. Review IDs and row grouping before adding spreadsheet totals. For schools with several merchant accounts, check that the report includes the intended account. Available reports and actions depend on your package and permissions. ### Importing data into accounting software Use the accounting workflow documented for your TUIO package and review the destination software’s import mapping. Do not import an invoice export as though every row were a new bank deposit. When exporting a historical period again, compare transaction IDs with data already imported. Check whether cash or TUIO credit entries are included in the selected date range before importing them again. If a historical export differs from an earlier file, contact TUIO support before importing duplicate entries.
