d. How to Remind Parents of Unpaid Invoice
When an invoice has not been paid nor has a bank account payment in progress 24h after it's been issued, TUIO automatically generates an email reminder to the parent. If the parent still takes no action, there is no further automated reminder and you will need to remind them manually with the 'Remind Parent' feature.
Triggering a Manual Email Reminder
On your Invoices tab, locate the invoice that is unpaid and for which you want to remind the parent. Click on the 3 dots on the right hand side of the invoice row and click Remind Parent. An email notification will be sent to them right away.
Parent accounts need to be Active status to receive email notifications. If the parent account is not active you should instead resend the invitation.
This can also be done in bulk, simply by selecting several invoices at once and clicking the Actions button at the bottom of the page. Note that you can only remind a parent if an invoice is unpaid and they have been notified of the enrollment.
